"Our whole Kauai experience was spectacular! This home, the Kalalau trail, the beaches, sunsets, the Slow-Yourself-Down one-lane bridges vibe, and the weather. We felt blessed! Quaint little Hanalei was a sweet spot for our 18 year old daughter. Ahh, and the shave ice!! We loved reading everyone's reviews for this home during the year we waited for this dream trip to come true. Found everything just as described, very comfortable and relaxing. Wish we could have stayed for a long, long time! Thankyou for sharing your home! "

Very comfortable sofas and beds with a kitchen that can accommodate all types of cooking. The art is simple and beautiful. Most importantly the view was one of the best on the island. We took the lawn chairs out to the beach to watch the sunset every night. We could see the sunrise from our bedroom window. The home has a ping pong table,hot tub and various fins and masks and snorkels. There are plenty of beach towels. We will definitely come back next year if it’s available. The women that manage and clean the property were very nice and accommodating and personable making it feel like a family home. River was quickly responsive when we had questions. Can’t wait to return!"

"The most epic lanai. The views and general experience in the lanai made this place super hard to deal with. It was just so nice to hang out there that we had a difficult time leaving to do other things! Highly recommended will definitely go back!"

"At the Tiki Hut you feel like you have really escaped from your ordinary life. The gardens are beautiful and tranquil, filled with birds, tropical flowers, green geckos and anoles. The living room lanai is a serene start to the day with morning coffee and the bedroom lanai and hot tub a perfect, relaxing bookend to each day. It is perfectly situated by Tunnels Beach near the end of the north shore road but close enough to Hanalei and Princeville for dinners out and exploring. The Tiki Hut has everything someone would need and more, for cooking, relaxing, hiking and beach days. I don’t want to go into detail so you can be as surprised as I was at Toni’s attention to every detail. Toni is a lovely person and has a genuine desire to make every visitor’s experience as perfect as possible. Her sweet dog Samson would greet us daily and spend relaxing times with us on the lanai. We are already scheduling our calendars to return next year. "

"House is very clean and well kept. Location is remote, just be prepared to drive a lot but that's part of being in a private area away from the resorts. Host was communicative, kitchen is well stocked, electric bbq is awesome outside, a lot of jungle noises which was a first experience for me. Thank you for the wonderful stay. "
