We love the location - yes if you want to go anywhere it can be a drive but what a beautiful drive it is! We love that it is very spacious, a very short walk to the ocean/beach and only about 1 1/2 mile from the end of the road and the Napali coastline. The back of the property has wonderful views of the magnificient cliffs. The owner is so kind and provides anything a person could want for the beach including a wagon if you have too much to carry! The kitchen was great, awesome knife set. The beds were comfy. Close to the beaches, great to walk to mornings till evenings. We liked the local vibe, very relaxing and quiet. Had 7 people, 3 couples and one 10 year old. The house is perfect, very comfortable with incredible views of the mountains. Also, seeing the chickens, donkeys, horses and cows roam behind the house was special. The house was lovely and had the most incredible views of the surrounding mountains from the back deck. Road noise was barely noticeable but birds calls were everywhere (including the wild roosters). We loved snorkeling at Tunnels beach with our kids and exploring the town of Hanalei. The house was clean and very well provisioned. This house is our favorite house for all of the reasons people have mentioned. I would highly recommend renting bikes so you can make the short ride to the beach and thus be able to ride if back to the house to eat lunch. Perfect location, plenty of room and the best area on the island if you like to chill. ##### hank d. It's perfect for us, bc we want to beach all day every day and it's only a short walk. It's always clean, and the house has everything we need so we can pack light.
