We love the location - yes if you want to go anywhere it can be a drive but what a beautiful drive it is! We love that it is very spacious, a very short walk to the ocean/beach and only about 1 1/2 mile from the end of the road and the Napali coastline. The back of the property has wonderful views of the magnificient cliffs. The owner is so kind and provides anything a person could want for the beach including a wagon if you have too much to carry! Had 7 people, 3 couples and one 10 year old. The house is perfect, very comfortable with incredible views of the mountains. Also, seeing the chickens, donkeys, horses and cows roam behind the house was special. The house was lovely and had the most incredible views of the surrounding mountains from the back deck. Road noise was barely noticeable but birds calls were everywhere (including the wild roosters). We loved snorkeling at Tunnels beach with our kids and exploring the town of Hanalei. The house was clean and very well provisioned. This house is our favorite house for all of the reasons people have mentioned. I would highly recommend renting bikes so you can make the short ride to the beach and thus be able to ride if back to the house to eat lunch. We loved waking up to the beautiful views and the animals outback. The outdoor shower was amazing every single day walking to the private beaches across the street where our favorite thing. This house had all the amenities we could ask for anymore. It is well loved and anyone who stays here is blessed. The host was awesome and communicated with us anytime we needed.
