Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the price. We found mold in the shower and had to flag down a cleaning crew in the hallway to have it addressed. Overall, the cleanliness of both the room and the hotel left a lot to be desired. Check-in was also disappointing. The person checking us in was on a speakerphone call throughout the process, barely paying attention to us. The location is fine, but overall, definitely not worth what they charge.

The hotel was advertised as a “4-star hotel,” but it felt more like a low-budget hotel considering the overall experience. At check-in, we were charged an additional amenities fee, yet the room had virtually no amenities. The mini fridge was completely empty, with not even the option to purchase anything. There was no water in the room either—you had to leave your room, walk down the hallway, and get water yourself. For a hotel marketed as 4-star, the experience was very disappointing. The bed was extremely hard and squeaked loudly every time we moved, making it difficult to sleep. Overall, the experience did not come close to what I would expect from a 4-star hotel, particularly given the price. One of the most disappointing hotel stays we’ve had.

Absolutely exceptional. The Manner is one of those rare hotels that gets every detail right — beautiful design, incredible atmosphere, impeccable service, and a level of sophistication that feels effortless rather than pretentious. From the moment you walk in, everything feels curated and special. Easily one of my favorite hotel experiences in New York. I cannot wait to come back.

Staff, property decor and architecture were outstanding. Food offerings in the main dining area were observed as ‘off’ by many of our international guests. A bit more focus on reliable continental cuisine offerings would be appreciated - from a flavor profile perspective
