The staff was friendly and very courteous and attentive to all of my needs. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was 100% satisfactory, which it was. It was my 50th birthday and the fact that the staff all went out to wish me well on my special day and having the room set up as a surprise birthday was memorable and I truly appreciate everyone there. Sebastien helped us plan out the best 4-5 day itenerary and was always around to help with anything we needed during our stay. The grounds are beautiful and maintained well and the view from the pool is absolutely stunning. The serving staff Cristina and Alex were so friendly and attentive. The Chef cooked up amazing lunches and lovely 3-4 course dinners. My wife and I look forward to coming back to Drake Bay to visit everyone at Tranquilo Lodge again in the future ! The tours were over priced though. ~400 per tour and while the locations were beautiful it was not worth that much money. Also note there is no food you can buy except for in the restaurants there. So grab some snack at the airport. But highly recommend this place.
