Beautiful maintained, clean, great room. Pool area fabulous with a well stocked poolside bar. Very nice staff.

Grounds around pool were muddy & dirty

The only good thing about this hotel is its location, 10 out of 10, the rest are 2 out of 10. When checked in, the floor was sticky, it didn't feel clean. The linen is very old, moist from the high humidity, the bed overall is very uncomfortable, noisy room. The most basic breakfast buffet I have ever seen, low quality produce. The roof top is basically non functioning, you can go up, but there is nothing up there but a small kid size pool and a few chairs. You would have to order drinks by calling the ground floor. It's a 4 star hotel, supposedly superior, but nothing in this hotel (hardware and software) matches its rating. I booked for 4 nights, over 1700$, expected to feel at least comfort while on vacation, but I felt exhausted from not being able to relax in the uncomfortable room. I spent time to write hoping others would not repeat my very unsatisfactory experience.

Staff were really unhelpful on multiple occasions, not the service I would ever expect from a 5 star hotel. They ran an event in the roof top which drew in a lot of “swimwear want to be models” taking selfies and videos all over the rooftop. We move downstairs. Because of this event they didn’t have enough staff to man the bar downstairs, if we wanted a drink we were expected to wait for the slowest elevator to take you to the roof top to order a drink, wait ages and then take it back downstairs. No food service at all because of this event. Really really poor way to look after guests. The cleaners took my face cloth while cleaning, I’m sure accidentally but the hotel did nothing to compensate me or try to get it back. The safe didn’t work and when we finally got it open there were 2 passports in there from the previous occupants so they clearly arnt checking the rooms thoroughly in between guests. Load construction work opposite our room so couldn’t sit in the balcony. Tons of other places to stay over this, don’t be blind sided by 5 stars. Plenty of 4 star hotels I’ve stayed in in the same area which out perform this hotel 10 fold!!!! Won’t be back.
