We liked the clean room and the great view of the pier and the ocean. The staff was awesome and super helpful. Wi-Fi is good throughout the hotel, and it provides beach amenities (surfboards and longboards, bicycles, chairs, umbrellas, games, and more). They have a really nice gym and a rock-climbing wall that we didn't use (wish we had), and we're not sure whether there's a pool. We purchased a breakfast package with our stay. The food was good but a bit pricey, and portions were small. I didn't understand why they charged for coffee or tea when it was free in the lobby (20 ft from the restaurant). Also, glad we bought the breakfast package because there is only one coffee shop open in the neighborhood (especially for early birds). If you are a cyclist, please bring your bike and join the penlone to ride with others. The hotel is on the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and is literally about 30 ft from the door. My biggest regret is that I didn't bring my bike to join the penlone groups (I won't make this mistake twice), and we should have brought our pet. We recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.

We needed a place to relax for the weekend after a busy work week. This fit the bill. We stayed in building 14. We had a lovely balcony with rocking chairs. They provided a nice cozy blanket. We had a massage. I believe my therapist’s name is Erica. She was wonderful! They have live music and a patio with fireplaces to relax. We did enjoy that area a few times. The staff were all very well trained; super polite and couldn’t be more helpful. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed the food. They have golf carts to take you to the beach. We had a wonderful time there relaxing in the chairs they provide. We will definitely stay again if we travel to that area again. Thank you

Friendly staff, feels more like a Club resort than a top end hotel. Clearly serves the conference crowd over luxury clientele. Wallpaper peeling in the room, inconsistent housekeeper service (I called 3 times about the turndown service)

Loved the location and amenities! It had everything we needed. Beach was beautiful- I could watch the surfers all day long! You have a shuttle that takes you to the beach if you don’t want to walk 2 minutes :) and you can request them to set up the chairs and umbrellas, get boogie boards. I find it a very nice add-on. Staff was beyond attentive!! Food at restaurants was very good! You almost don’t need to leave, but you do have a gorgeous area around so it’s nice to venture off to San Clemente or Laguna Beach. We live in Venice beach only a little over 1 hour away and this felt like a nice vacation!!
