The a/c in the hotel when we arrived in the lobby was poor and it was the same when we got into our room. No matter how low we set the temp or fan speed of the A/C, it does nothing. The room cleanliness was poor e.g. sink stopper was rusty, shower glass had water/soap scum marks and the seals are clearly worn and old, the toilet seat is old and had some old stained that can't be cleaned off. The bins weren't lined either. All the furniture in the room are worn out and bedsheets were torn. I wouldn't say it is a 5-star hotel as claimed but 3.5 stars.

A Fantastic Stay at LM Hotel Five Guangzhou I had a fantastic stay at LM Hotel Five Guangzhou. It is a small luxury hotel, and that is exactly what makes it so special. Everything feels personal, attentive, and well taken care of. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Rebecca and YoYo were especially helpful and incredibly patient with me. I needed some documents printed, and although I don’t believe the hotel has a traditional business center, they went out of their way to help me. They took care of everything and made the process so easy. Their service was exceptional. The room was also excellent—very spacious, extremely clean, and beautifully comfortable. The bathroom was particularly impressive, with a lot of space. The room had everything I needed, including coffee, tea, and a safe. Breakfast was another highlight. It was à la carte, and I had a fantastic omelet. The quality was excellent, and it was a wonderful way to start the day. I really can’t say enough good things about this hotel. It is a small luxury hotel with excellent service, beautiful and spacious rooms, great breakfast, and a very personal atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend LM Hotel Five Guangzhou and would be very happy to stay here again.
