One day stay will my 7 year old. We got a double room and everything was perfect. Nice food too plus my daughter eat for free both dinner and breakfast

The room was excellent, bed was so comfortable that we slept in on our 1st night, leaving only 1 and a half hours to get ready for a wedding we were going to. The bathroom was lovely, a large shower with rainfall head. Very deep bath that we used on 2nd day. A great menu and restaurants to choose from. The bar was so welcoming with a great whiskey selection for myself and cocktail selection my partner loved. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our stay Matfen Hall was excellent and I highly recommend. We didn’t use the spa facilities this time but definitely will on our return. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay a pleasure

Room was clean and staff friendly. TV only had 2 channels that worked and when you flush the toilet the bedroom walls shook as if something was going to errupt from within. Breakfast was a disapointment and not worth. It was meant to serve until 10:30 but at 9am it was like locusts had attacked. Whilst hot food did eventually get restocked the pastries etc didnt.

we chose this hotel because it had a swimming pool which was excellent. Our room was well maintained. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
We ate at the bar the food was good. Breakfast was plentiful. Will definitely stay these again

Great Hotel with fantastic facilities including gym and pool - the breakfast experience was the best we have experienced! Only down side was that the swimming pool was very busy and had a waiting list - we didn’t know that until we went down to access the pool.
