Hotel had recently had an uplift all area's felt clean and modern. Good clean, spacious room, comfortable bed. Unfortunately swimming pool was out of order which was a disappointment, as,it was something we had looked forward to enjoying. Staff helpful and pleasant, good parking.

Attended a wedding at Hensol Castle and stayed the night at The Vale. The shuttle buses between both venues offer a great service. The room was lovely and had everything you would need. And the bed was huge!
I didn’t get the chance to eat at the Vale but my family did the night before and said food was great.

I was charged £5 each for my son and I to use the pool facilities. Thought this was disappointing as I've stayed a few times and was under the assumption this would be included within the price.

Unique architecture, rooms had balconies - some balcony chairs would have been nice. Great location with views over Cardiff Bay. Restaurant food and service was good.
Some maintenance issues re lobby glass and wood in room. Overall a very nice stay

Excellent, luxurious stay. This huge hotel is a well-oiled machine and functions brilliantly. Breakfast was superb. Staff extremely helpful. Meal options are varied but pricey. Would stay again.
