North Dorset District Beach Holidays

Good hotel which services a lot of businesses that use the local facilities. Breakfast a good standard but not outstanding.

We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms.

Amazing location and venue, friendly staff. The grounds are terrific. A good place to ramble or go for a run. Cleanliness-wise.. it is very clean.. but dust can be found in corners/window ledges. Not a deal breaker. The only other thing to comment on .. is that not every room has a.c. Some additional light touches, given it is a spa hotel, would have been appreciated - such as a bathrobe, slippers, sample soaps/lotions would have been great.

Such a lovely relaxed place with good food. Really nice spa too!

Great hotel. The manager at the front desk was very helpful. Room was very well stocked, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good.

Whilst acknowledging that this is a 5-star “restaurant with rooms” and not a 5-star hotel, it is marketed as a high end accommodation but fell short. The quality of the in room coffee and hot chocolate wasn’t great (although very nice soaps in the bathroom!), and it wasn’t fun/a good start to the holiday to carry our pre-cruise suitcases through the restaurant and then up the stairs. The bed/bedding and the bathroom were nice but the remainder of the room was very curiously furnished. The times of availability for breakfast were very limited and we did not have it.
