Venezia-Murano-Burano Beach Holidays

Great stay at the Eurostar hotel. It’s a 20 min walk from Piazzale Rome, can be a bit challenging if carrying heavy bags. The place was clean, staff were nice. The only thing was that the hotel staff asked us not to use the elevator because someone got stuck in it the other day. So we had to carry our bags to the second storey when checking in and out.

Hotel front desk, kitchen staffs are wonderful, we had great 3 night stay. Front desk lady manager who checked us in (I think she is a manager, she told me her name but I couldn't remember now) is very pleasant & helpful, whatever we need or raised concern like we were worried about falling in the bathtub since the tub is a little high for my height, she provided the bathmat right away, which is a peace of mind. Breakfast lady (Barb) greets us every morning with her big, beautiful smile. She remembered our names too. Amazing! Everything is great to start our vacation.

I really liked my stay at the Hyatt Centric. It’s right off the ferry stop and also right by the stop where you can get a private water taxi, which makes getting around very easy. I took a private boat to Murano when I arrived, but used the hotel’s shuttle boat back to the airport. Both options were equally good quality, comfortable and easy. It’s a bit far from the Lido and a bit of a haul from the main islands of Venice, but I enjoy the boat rides, so I didn’t mind. And honestly, a comfortable, clean room is paramount for any stay. There’s not much around as far as souvenirs or shopping if you’re not looking for glassware. This is Murano, after all, and Murano is famous for its glass, so there is certainly plenty of that! I had dinner at the hotel restaurant at sunset along the canal and really enjoyed it. The portions are American-style big, and the limoncello is strong! I loved sitting there watching people walk their dogs and watching the ferries come in, with everyone getting on and off. It was a lovely way to experience a quieter side of Venice. My room was quiet, the water pressure was great, and the bed was comfortable. I didn’t even touch the AC. All around, a good stay and I would absolutely come back.

This is a great hotel at the wrong side of the canal. Going from one side to the other is only a nuisance but it makes a difference. Having said that, we still like the hotel given the cost value relationship

Nice clean room. 3 adults sharing a room with a chaise lounge bed. Reception available 24-7 for any questions or assistance. Buffet breakfast was nice surprise (simple and sufficient). Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful letting us leave our luggage after check out and use facilities before leaving. Room was ready when we arrived (4 hours before check in time). Shower was a bit precarious but we managed. Location was superb for main Venice tourist spots (less than 10 mins walk to St Marks area).

Our corner room, looked right down on the gondolas picking up passengers, so we loved that. Lots of entertainment. Breakfast buffet, included, was very nice. Hotel is located just steps off San Marco square, which is very convenient. Water taxi can come right to the door of the hotel.

Perfect location, close to the train station but right on a canal and a lovely area with lots of good bars and restaurants with out being too touristy
