The Maverick felt like a hidden gem. It is situated perfectly in downtown SA. The building itself is charming and bears some history. The room itself was just perfect, and the fact that it came with its own kitchen just made it that much better. Getting around was easy and the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to talk to. 10/10 and would definitely book again.

This was a great place right on the Riverwalk. Convenient to everything. Could definitely use updated furniture.Beds do not have comforter/ blanket, we had to call and requested 2 blankets. Service was fast! . There is no microwave.And be prepared for pricey parking fees unless you park in public parking overnight across the street.

Beautiful property! Attentive valet and great rooms. AC did it's best with the humidity but it didn't get as cold in the room as I would've liked. I made a request when booking if they could leave a surprise bday note for my daughter in the room and not only did they, but they also made her a beautiful and delicious chocolate mouse cake for her complimentary. It's also in perfect walking distance to everything on the river walk and about a 30 min walk from the alamodome where we attended a concert. Would stay again! :)
