Fiesta Island Adventure Holidays

I really enjoyed my stay at The San Diego ANCORA ! incredible rooftop pool with amazing views . Very Very Clean . took me a second to figure out the fob & door lock but it worked great ! Delicious food just blocks away in either direction gas lamp district one way, little Italy the other way. Its a 7 eleven store a few blocks away for a early coffee run. San Diego`s downtown is a beautiful spot BUTTTT it needs more green space for such a pet friendly community cause it has a punget smell of dog pee EVERYWHERE!!! I Highly Reccomed staying here ! Very nice place in the convient community of Cortez .

Overhyped and overpriced. Rooms are barely a step up from a refurbished Motel 6, terrible sound proofing room to room. Surrounded by screaming kids including the jerks next door who screamed from 4:00 am until 5/30 am. Don't waste your money on this place unless you like lining up for evreything, terse staff and relatively poor customer service given the outlandish rates they charge for a room. The highlight of the whole trip was Summwr who checked us in. Otherwise an entirely forgettable stay that doesn't come close to justifying $1500 a night. I'll keep my money for a Four Seasons or Ritz Carleton next time.

We had a good trip. The location was great and the staff was helpful. The hotels needs some attention in some places.

Overall underwhelming stay due to poor service and communication. Main issues: -Front desk understaffed. 15-20 minute wait to check-in. -Room was not ready at 4 pm check-in time. Front desk advised they would message me when the room was ready. After receiving no updates, I asked about my room at 6:45 pm via text message and was told housekeeping was still working. I never received a message stating my room was ready. I finally received keys at 8:30 pm after going back to front desk to ask about the status of my room in person. -Walls between rooms are thin, sound from adjoining unit’s TV easily heard in living/dining areas. -General condition of villa was mediocre: sewage odor emanating from bathroom drains, broken window shades that don’t fully close, broken fan in toilet room. -“Concierge” is just a salesperson pushing timeshare presentations. Guests are forced to go to the “concierge” to get a parking pass. This was my family’s second stay at the Welk and due to the overall poor experience, we will likely never return.

Beautiful secluded place with lots of amenities around. Excellent experience. Will be back every time I go to san Diego.
