"First visit to Amsterdam. Stayed 4 nights. Reserved a single but upgraded when I checked in, really nice. Not the reason giving high marks. Staff was lovely, beds comfy. After busy days & evenings in Amsterdam very pleasant to return to. Being directionally challenged, having the train station (& bus stand) across the courtyard from hotel was most excellent! There’s a Spar & other conveniences very close. The restaurant also great. Beautiful park like area. This senior will choose to stay here...

Nice place, good accommodation for 2 or 3 people. We spent one week exploring Amsterdam and the surrounding areas. It was a pleasure to return to this place after a busy day. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would stay here again."

So peaceful. Yet it was so close to everything. This was the crown jewel in our visit to Netherlands. We fell in love with Utrecht. I will recommend Karel-V as top place to stay. The staff were so helpful getting us to the hotel when we got lost. Sent a taxi for us. Thankyou so much for such a memorable time."
