The Met Hotel Leeds - Newly Refurbished

"Very nice hotel and staff in good location. Breakfast was good. It was very clean. Shower in room didn’t work properly which was disappointing given the price, you either had it warm on a trickle or freezing cold with some water. We did go to report it as we checked out but the line was so long we didn’t have time to wait."

"Lovely hotel with beautiful public areas, friendly staff and in a great location. The breakfast choice was good and the Garden Room was a nice place to have lunch. The bedroom was good size, however, bedroom decor was very tired with grubby carpets and badly stained armchairs. That being said I would say the positives outweighed the negatives and I would recommend the Milner."

"Room was very clean. Staff were ok, had little to do with them, Breakfast was good, although the carpet in the breakfast bar was in need of a steam clean. Bar, didnt make much use of. Not my sort of place"

"Efficient and friendly staff at reception, made check in easy. Stayed in a double room which had tea and coffee available, but no biscuits though. Good size desk for working on, with plenty of sockets including USB points as well as more socket/USB by the bed, which is always handy. wifi had a very good signal and easy to connect to. Fridge, iron, ironing board, safe and hair dryer also in the room. Shower was ok, large area but could be more powerful. Water was hot and bottles of soap/shampoo were available, although the soap was empty so I would recommend checking before taking a shower. A good size Buffet Breakfast was available with a good selection of items, but as seems to be normal these days, the temperature was warm rather than hot for the food. Very clean room, as well as communal areas, and an efficient A/C unit in the room too. Large TV with good selection of channels. The only real issue is that there is no parking or discount available. Trinity is close by but at £38+ for overnight, it was nearly half the cost of the room."
