The PVH hotel since two years ago change the new management n new generation not families, kindliness and Human touch and the staffs always change ! Especially we are old n regulator customers they treat us as walk in customers no feeling too commercial and the prices increase at this economic so bad as and no connect with the wedside for Hotel.com n other they given the member rewards for fee night stay !
It’s clean room and toilet. Price not expensive with delicious breakfast. Staffs are all friendly and kind. If I go Yangon again, I will stay this hotel again.
Everyone from the day manager and night manager, staff on the front desk, staff that served our breakfast, the kitchen staff, housekeeping (who cleaned our room daily and who put clean sheets etc on our bed when I was vomiting because of food poisoning in the middle of the night) to the man on the front door who always greeted us with a smile.
The girls on the front desk were so sweet and the manager very helpful. I did enjoy my stay there. The hotel was having renovations but it didn't impact on our stay too much. There was a change of management/owner and the hotel is now called "Pleasure View"
In saying all of this I will add that I was quite terrified each time I had to cross the road in front of hotel. Over time I did learn to not cross alone. I watched the locals cross in small groups and joined them. The hotel is situated in a good position to visit Swengon Pagoda
and close to " French Eclair" restaurant owned by a local man who was very nice and helpfull. The strawberry smoothies are fantastic along with the eclairs and other dishes.
Worse experience staying in a hotel.... with no water for 3 days (Thankfully was only in the day time) and water has got a sewage smell!
Room was decent in size but very old and filled with mosquitoes...
Only compensation was the helpful and friendly staff... apart from that nothing else is worth mentioning.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Be much better once renovation finishes
Shouldn't be allowing guests to stay while renovating.
Noisey during day (obviously).
Very basic, step above backpackers.
Nice staff though.

Stayed here twice now. Staff are great. The room left alot to be desired the seconomy time around. Ants everywhere, even on the bed. Ceiling in bathroom leaking. Something weird left in fridge. Clearly some rooms are ok but some are not.
Friendly Staff. Helpful beyond belief. The free breakfast had very limited choices (I'm not really a breakfast person, so not a problem ). Good value for the money.
Nice hotel with very kind and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast and great location. Good value for money. Could be a bit cleaner and sometimes the wi-fi did not always work well.
The hotel was a bit old, so the room was not new, neither super clean. The staff was however excellent and they help us book bus tickets and taxi(everywhere in Myanmar the hotel staff is very helpful). They clean the room every day. Breakfast was ok, you got to choose between some options. Wi-fi was ok, but not able to watch videos properly. The hotel was quite near the shwedagon pagoda and vista bar.
Frankly, the hotel is a little old, but not run down. However, the staff are very helpful & friendly.
Breakfast portion is good & generous.
Location is near to the ShweDagon Pagoda. Walking time is about 20mins.
Location wise, it's between the old town -- China town & the new town -- Inya Lake area.
Grab taxi service is very2 convenient & I strongly suggest visitors use the app rather than flagging down a taxi along the roadside.
Given the price of the hotel, it's still worth the stay.
I stayed in Pleasand View Hotel for three nights and would highly recommend this place for others. The service was brilliant, especially from the night manager, who have helped us to organise and book a bus to Bagan, and the following morning was kind enough to serve us the breakfast at a very early time of 5.30am, just before ordering a taxi from Grab, that was a couple of thousand Kyats less that if we were to get a taxi individually from the street. The hotel is ideally located for visiting Shwedagon Pagoda that is easily accessible by walking, but you will need to get a local bus No 61 right to the downtown of Yangon. Also you could get a local bus No 36 right from the main bus station to get to the hotel, but remember that in a rush hour it will take you around an hour to get to and from the bus station to the centre of Yangon regardless of whether you choose to travel by taxi or a local bus.
