Staff as friendly as always. Loi Sam Sip in the front garden, the best Shan restuarant of Yangon is an extra reason to stay. The menu has further improved. Excellent Tofu Nway soup in the morning and good salade or set menu in the evening. Internet has improved a bit, but 3G is very cheap and fast in Myanmar anyway. And the fascinating view on Shwedagon Pagoda from my room. The location of hotel is in the middle of the street you can get to the Shwedagon Pagoda by walking around 5km or 20 mins. The room was big and comfortable, the staff was helpful whenever we needed anything. Even though the hotel was not in the downtown, the location was nice and a quite area. Downtown is 3000 kyat by taxi. There is a shopping mall with a big supermarket in walking distance but couldn't find much food that suits our taste nearby. The breakfast was more like a lunch, like rice, noodles, fried vegetables, eggs etc. Occasionally we had problems with internet speed.
