"A great hotel, in the heart of Brighton. A little overpriced in my opinion, and we were disappointed to find out that breakfast wasn't included (after filtering on the Hotels.com website accommodation including breakfast). Saying that, if it were cheaper in future, I would stay here again."

"This would have been an all over 'excellent' save for one issue immediately resolved by staff. The window catches in the ground floor room I was given which overlooked the garden could not be shut and locked to secure the room from the outside. As soon as I reported this, however, I was immediately offered another secure equally good room so it was resolved - the cleaning staff must have known but had not alerted management who were unaware till I drew it to its attention. That literally was the only thing, it was dealt with at once and my stay was quite wonderful. The food was first rate, they accommodated my dietary needs and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is a stone's throw from the sea with a beautiful outlook on to a square and close to all amenities, buses, theatres and cinemas though the weather was wonderful so I did not avail myself of the theatres! I would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the south coast and stay in the lovely town of Worthing rather than somewhere like Brighton. Worthing's air is flushed clean daily by the sea breeze and as a location it is really looking up."

"It’s a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Unfortunately breakfast service was below par and expectations. They had run out of everything for cooked breakfast. The queue ended up getting quite long and I felt sorry for front of house staff who took the brunt of people grumbling. There were people who needed to check out for transport who had to just pick at what little there was."

"I got a good nights sleep but the room was small and the window had a wall directly opposite so the lighting was lacking, I was very disappointed compared to the room I had when I stayed six months previously which was bigger and had a view of the street: I’d only stay here again as a last resort."
