"Great stay, the room was well presented, warm and cosy. The staff, friendly. The meals in the pub, excellent. Breakfast in the tea room was also 1st class. On our second night, we went to the pubs sister pub, The Anchor, and listened to the folk club. Absolutely brilliant. We will be back."

"When reading the reviews, i was debating on staying here but thought lets give it a go anyways.. im so glad i did choose to stay here!!!! This place is great, not the best aesthetically but a great place to stay.. the one staff member there (name is calvin btw) is an absolute legend, very welcoming, always doing his best to help out in anyway and a generally all round nice guy.. was an absolute pleasure to stay here.. will definitely be back very soon!!
