Great room above a fun little pub. We enjoyed the convenient parking across the street. Check in was simple and our room was just as stated in the booking information. The staff that assisted with our check in recommended Tilly's for breakfast as they do not serve it at the hotel. It was great! Lots of shops and hiking located within walking distance as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Dont bother.
The room was great apart from very noisy from 6am due to the Quarry Lorries driving through the village. They should invest in some Secondary Glazing. The breakfast was disappointing. Streaky bacon, Come on. Offered wholemeal toast, served us white and had the cheek to question if we'd ordered wholemeal by the same lad who took our order. Two eggs on toast turned into one, hard boiled was interpreted as under cooked snotty. The Sunday roast was served cold. Random items were missing and very sparse. £16 and only served one potato , cold and hard. No breakfast was available on the Monday morning. Only served Saturday and Sunday. Think we'll give it a wide berth in future.
