    Just returned from a one night stay at the hotel. Had a twin with a connecting door in to a double for me, my wife and our 2 and 4 year old kids. There first time in a proper hotel so we were a bit anxious. Arrived around 18.30 on the evening after a day out at diggerland with two shattered kids but were checked in within minutes by the reception staff and got us straight to our room. Room was very spacious and clean, couldn’t of asked for more. After the kids settled used the room service for food and a couple of beers. Great choice and quality was fab. Breakfast in the morning was in their restaurant which is a great room with huge windows. Despite current restrictions we were handed a menu to fill out what we wanted then had it bought out to us. A special mention to Lindsay who looked after us and helped avert a near meltdown the youngest was considering. Nothing was too much hassle and it made the experience a lot more pleasant than we expected with the kids. Overall a great stay, will be back again fir a couple of nights next year all being well as a great base for exploring Yorkshire. …
