The Bell Inn is a delightful property in beautiful surroundings. Our room was clean & bright with a very comfortable double bed. We had an evening meal & breakfast the following morning & the food was excellent. Staff were very friendly & helpful. We would definitely stay here again 😊

A literal 5-star stay. I immediate extended my stay upon arrival. Everyone is so lovely and the room itself is wonderful, spacious and clean. Thoughtful amenities such as milk alternative, coffee bags and light breakfast snacks. I’m already deciding when next to book my stay at 33.

Stayed one night only in a classic room (206). Small but pleasant, overlooking the square. Went for a wander in the evening to look at the abbey. Very nice. Breakfast (buffet ) included and all staff very pleasant and helpful. Good experience, would book again.

Great place to stay, very modern and ckean. we were just there for the night as we were meeting friends local but wished we could have stayed longer. Everything you could need, the owners have added little touches which are great and pretty much have you covered for a great stay. Communication was excellent. Defiantly recommend!

We stayed here in August to attend a wedding nearby so didn't get chance to eat here so we thought we would return. The food was excellent, so was the room, staff and whole experience. There was just one small thing, the first time we stayed we had breakfast in the main bar/restaurant but this time we were seated in a separate room that was just laid out with tables and chairs and it just lacked a bit of atmosphere. A beautiful hotel which has retained original features. All staff were wonderful. We stayed for 2 nights in a suite overlooking the river ...gorgeous! Our ensuite room was huge with a very big and comfortable 4 poster bed. All areas were clean and warm. The hot breakfast was made to order and was piping hot. A rareity these days ! A wonderful hotel which we will have no hesitation staying here again. 10/10

Great location, central and with free parking! It was spacious, comfy and a fantastic shower!!!

Was lovely hotel is very clean staff very helpful and friendly, rooms are standard double bed tv bathroom a little small but was only 2 of us and we only slept in there, the pool, hot tub etc was lovely too. Beds are a little uncomfortable gave me and my partner a bad back. Apart from that everything was great!

Friendly welcome by owners Ralph and Susan, and staff. Shown to our room and advised of breakfast times. Dinner not included in our booking, but very reasonably priced meals available and something for everyone. Parking a slight issue, but this was a problem throughout the town. One large car park on edge of town!
