"The White Swan is in an excellent location. It was easy to park nearby and the station is also fairly close. From there, it is easy and very pleasant vto walk around, enjoying Stratford. The staff in reception and in the restaurant were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, the shower was great, breakfast was delicious. Absolutely brilliant place to stay."

"The staff was informative and welcoming and the room was spotless with a lovely bathroom, coffee, tea, biscuits, and milk. The linens were crisp, cool, and luxurious with a comforter that was cozy and warm. Each bed had two pillows that gave me the best sleep I have had in a long time. My husband and I ordered the continental breakfast and found it very delicious and satisfying. The Greek yogurt was thick and pillowy, and the fruit was very fresh and sweet. My husband enjoyed the flavored yogurt and breakfast pastries and breads. We loved being able to help ourselves to a variety of coffee drinks and cappuccino. Restaurant staff was very attentive and gracious. The location of Hotel Indigo on Chapel Street in Stratford, makes it the perfect jumping off spot for touring Stratford Upon Avon. The hotel is a scenic, easy walk to Anne Hathaway’s cottage, across the street from the guild church, Shakespeare’s school, the alms houses, Shakespeare’s New Place and Garden and a two minute walk from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and around the corner from Shakespeare’s birthplace."

"Lovely spa, but housekeeping needs improvement Overall, we had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the spa facilities. The hotel has a lot going for it and we had a relaxing time. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the cleanliness. The room was not cleaned to the standard I would expect from a hotel and spa of this level, and the rooms themselves are starting to look quite tired and would benefit from refurbishment. It is a shame because with better attention to housekeeping and some investment in the bedrooms, this could be an excellent place to stay. We still enjoyed our visit, but the cleanliness really needs addressing."
