"Our host was fanatic, she gave us a good sense of what was in the area to see. Which was quite a lot. This area is rich with history of the early 1900's shale mining operations. The scenery is truly amazing. It was great for us as Canadian to see some of Australia's wildlife from sitting on the deck having our morning coffee.We wish we would have staying longer in this area."

"The property was great for a weekend away with my friends. Lots of breakout spaces to relax and a great kitchen for cooking in. Sometimes the power goes out if there are too many appliances plugged in but all you have to do is flip the fuse box switch back on again. Very minor in the grand scheme of being in a beautiful location away from everything.Would definitely recommend. "

"Had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. Stay among the scenic mountains but with all amenities that you need to be completely comfortable.Hot showers, spa bath, extra blankets, large tv, firepit, aircon, gas bbq, kitchen appliance and utensils.Mandy was a lovely host. It was so relaxing and peaceful. I would come back again. "

"All the members of the family had a great time over Christmas at this Bilpin farmstay. The host was welcoming then left us to do our own thing, before returning to check if all was well (without interrupting us) and then again to say "Goodbye."The facilities suited our 4 families and all grandchildren from 11 to 23 enjoyed doing some things together or just chilling out. The farm dam with its kayaks and swimming was a hit. Even on the day it rained lightly there were options to keep people occupied.The breakfast supplies covered many different options and the kitchen was well equipped.All the grandchildren enjoyed having the responsibility of feeding the animals and collecting the eggs.We didn't tour Bilpin much as we had Christmas day celebrations and then a family birthday on Boxing Day. Still, there would be a variety of activities in the local area had we chosen those."
