Staying for Ascot - We arrived at this hotel on Monday lunch time and it was 32 degrees! Staff were waiting outside to give every one ice cold water and take our bags inside. Check in was smooth, we had room 126, with air conditioning and was very classy, the whole hotel had the WOW factor. This is a unique and characteristic hotel with lots of history and amazing architecture. The scenery, gardens and the estate overall are simply gorgeous. Such a beautiful hidden gem! So glad we booked this for an impromptu weekend away. It’s tucked away in Bray village so it’s very quaint. Beds really comfortable. We also received a complimentary upgrade on the day which was a sweet surprise. Rooms were on the smaller side but honestly not even an issue if it’s just for a night or two. Staff very friendly. Grounds were so peaceful to explore. Wonderful in the sunny weather!
