"I booked with Hotels.com so wasn’t aware I had to pay for parking or using the gym/pool. Stayed here years ago and it was all free. Shame really. My husband went down for breakfast and met his friend, he said the plates were cold so the food went cold quickly. We had food in the evening which was nice. Desert felt tough and microwaved. All staff were lovely, bath needed a clean as felt grimy when I got in. Bedroom didn’t have anywhere to put your clothes so we kept them in our bags for 3 nights, there was a few short poles sticking out of the wall to hang up coats, similar to the travelodge/premier inn rooms. There was a hairdryer and an iron and ironing board, Kettle and tea coffee. Body wash was nice in the shower."

The Liner Hotel

"3 day stay in Liverpool as a couple at the Liner Hotel. Great location just behind Lime Street Railway Station altho you would not know as very minimal noise. Room was spotless, King size bed very comfortable, bathroom fine with bath and shower attachments, nice toiletries supplied. Breakfast was good, buffet style both hot and cold choices. Bar inside the hotel too which was very nice, reasonable pricing and happy hours too. All staff that we came across were very polite and helpful. The hotel has its own parking area although we did not use it. Very happy with the hotel and recommend it"

"Very welcoming on arrival, quick check in and straight up to the room. Room is comfortable and has everything you need. Bar area downstairs felt nice and relaxing. Good choice of hot and cold breakfast items, tea, coffee, juice and smoothies on offer. Would book here again."
