Strand House

2.5 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (26)
"An amazing house and a truly warm welcome from Alex and Kerry. We were served a well cooked English breakfast each morning that kept us going to the evening. There was a log fire in the lounge every evening and we had a well presented bedroom with a modern and spacious en-suite. If low ceilings are not your thing then it's probably best to avoid a 15th Century town house for your break. "

"Check in was easy and location was good, thise are the only positives. The property is extremely dated and dirty. The furnishings in communal areas were torn, threadbare, stained, dirty and smelly. The carpets were dirty, covered in

"Stable Cottage was perfect for our needs; rural location with beautiful view, a wood burner and short drive to stunning beaches for
dog

The Cot - a holiday let that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (2)
"Everyone loved the cottage and we all found it very comfortable. We particularly loved the outside space which was good both for eating and relaxing. We did, however, have a small problem with a nail sticking up on the wooden floor of the shower room and it was not easy to contact anyone about it (it was a Bank Holiday!). We couldn't locate any tools despite being told there was a hammer in a cupboard. In the end my son managed to bang it down using a stone. Otherwise everything worked well....

"The Annex was lovely and clean with everything that was needed in the kitchen. We were close to shops and the beach, with the option to travel in to near by towns which weren’t too far away. Great location for our
dog
too as she had the freedom of the garden. Lovely place to stay and would stay here again 😊"

"We enjoyed a much needed break at Garden Cottage. It was a perfect place for us as a family of three. The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and completely spotless. Very well located to visit Winchelsea, Rye, Hastings and Battle. Hopefully we will return again to further explore the area. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo"
