Not my best decision...

For what I paid, I was pretty disappointed in the findings. I knew I wasn't getting luxury, and the room met our basic needs, but it felt so neglected. Like a motel from the 70s.
The amenities dish only had a shampoo, a shower cap, and a soap; when I looked under the folded washcloth in that dish, it was lined with crumbs, dirt, and yes - a hair or two.
The ice bucket had mold on its lid.
We were scared of the blanket, so tore it off.
A few men had a room across from us, but on the ground floor, and as I went out for the occasional smoke, I noticed a great deal of activity. Basically their door was wide open, some random dude or chick would show up, and go inside with one of them, and close the door while the others drank in the courtyard. And cat called me. And whistled. And I was made really uncomfortable just to step outside, so I obviously avoided them after it started.
I don't need this when I'm paying this much for a basic motor court unit. To top it off, I confirmed noon checkout numerous times and put the reminder on the door, yet, service knocked loudly at 10am. Come on, people.
