I was a solo traveller, from the UK, and wanted to take a staycation due to international covid restrictions. I can tell you, I really enjoyed my stay at the Little Hide. Checkin was unmanned but it was very easy. You just take your booklet which is pinned ot the board with your name on. This gives you access to your pod key which is secured outside your pod. The pod was so cozy. It's only a 2star rated site, but that's part of the fun of camping IMO. The bathrooms were clean and the staff...

We had a 4 night stay to celebrate my birthday. What a beautiful place the Burtonstone inn is. A moden pub with 8 letting rooms. All the rooms are 1st floor with ensuite. Some have extra beds for kids to share. All are well thought out with nice modern touches. Water , tea, coffee, etc. Hair drier , tv and free wifi. Are all provided. What a beautiful hotel next to the river a nice walk to the centre of York. Staff so friendly and helpful clean and comfortable apartment. With everything you wanted in a apartment. We even asked to have a look at the 2 bedroom penthouse suite and was given a guided tourer, we will book the penthouse suite on our next visit with friends. And with free tea/coffee in the lobby. A great 2 nights stay could not ask for more.

Great location and price. Full of character very welcoming and comfy. Considering the age of the building they have managed the space and updated the hotel with modern facilities. Personal touches of tea coffee and biscuits and toiletries,hairdryer etc. Included breakfast was fresh and good in choice of cereals fresh fruit toasts jams and many varieties of cooked breakfasts to your liking. Overall great value for money and centre location for town exploring.
