"The staff were ok. The room was like going back in time. The furniture was discoloured and very dated. The bathroom was not great. Very disappointed with the breakfast. The photos show a nice continental breakfast but in reality you get some toast with jam or cereal with tea or coffee The rooms are not soundproof and we had some very loud ladies in the next room that decided to shout until 2am so no sleep for us All in all we would rate our experience a 2 out of 10 and that is being generous...

"Lovely hotel and pub. Excellent and well looked after . Well done"

"Everything was fine. The accommodation was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom was also clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. A nice bonus was having a fridge in the room and a kettle to prepare the tea and coffee provided. We had a pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again."
