"The property did provide limited car parking which was useful. Maybe next time though I should read the entry better as this isnt a Bed and Breakfast (B&B as stated clearly in the title). They no longer provide breakfasts which was slightly inconvenient especially as there was no kettle in the room. "

"Susan is an excellent host. Unobtrusive, but there when needed and nothing is too much trouble. She also provides an excellent and varied breakfast. "Stayed here before a track event at Donington and honestly it is one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in. Beverley is a wonderful host and from the moment she greeted us was full of advice, and tips to make our stay more comfortable. The bed was so comfortable I crashed out and didn’t stir at all. As others have stated everywhere was immaculately clean. "

"A great set up, in a separate building. It was good to be able to come and go as I needed. A comfortable bed and good facilities. I wondered if I'd hear the road all the time, but I didn't hear it at all, and it wasn't very busy anyway. So that was great too. Really lovely and interesting walks straight from the house it'self and further afield as well. The Lime kilns etc were very interesting and the various reservoirs nearby were beautiful. The Autumn colours in the woodland and Calke Abbey...
