"Having stayed at Retallack several years ago, we found that things were much the same, but obviously with more development going on. Our lodge looked a little tired, compared to where we stayed before, perhaps because it is up for sale, the owners have lost interest. The upstairs balcony was rather dirty with bird droppings and the wood was rather slimy, which made it more or less unusable as a pleasant place to sit. "Enjoyed our stay at the Manor. Only issue was the laundrette at the park proved impossible to work."

"The house is even better than the pictures. There were eight of us and plenty of space. Loved the various outdoor areas and the open plan living space meant we could all spend quality time together playing games and eating. Luxurious bedding and high end bathroom facilities. Laundry room was handy. Kitchen was well equipped. Location was great. Visit Porth beach which is easy accessible for older people. Open air bus to Padstow was fun and popup cocktail bar at top of Lusty Glaze does great...

"Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....

"Keepers cottage was lovely. It is absolutely ideal if you have dogs. There is a large enclosed area where your dogs can run plus there are spacious kennels if you need to go out and leave your dogs. We didnt use this as we took our dogs with us but it was great to have this option. The bedroom, toilet, shower room was downstairs and the living room was up the stairs. There was a lovely balcony leading off from the living room where you could enjoy the views, unfortunately we didnt get much use...
