The hotel was great..and the location was great think we were unlucky with our room as it was right on the side of a noisey pub and shop.. so drunks at 3am waiting for cabs and then lorries delivering at 7am so broken sleep.. but the staff were lovely and more than helpful I defo would stay again but would request a different room for sure..

Perfect if you are looking for quiet place to stay. Only 5 min walk from the beach. Breakfast very good, lady running the hotel - lovely and polite. Bathroom very clean. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends.

Two night stay to visit family nearby. Chose the Rembrandt as it has an indoor pool which our grandsons could use when they visited us.

Chose hotel for its location as we wanted to visit Chesil Beach and Fleet Lagoon. Great walk along South coast path and to village pub.

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights in this quaint and quirky hotel, in "Clover" room. This overlooked the street, but we hardly noticed the traffic noise and enjoyed the bell ringer's practices some evenings. The room seemed to have been recently refurbished-very clean and comfortable, with a small en-suite shower room. It has an ample wardrobe but could do with a small chest of drawers. This room is over the bar area, so there was a bit of music till 11pm, or 12pm at weekends, but after this time, it stayed very peaceful. A full English breakfast with tea or coffee was included in the room price, and we were fortunate to have the head chef most days, who took pride in his cooking and we had some well cooked tasty breakfasts, with gorgeous home made marmalades and jams-so good ,we brought some home with us.The final morning he was not on, and the breakfast was rather over cooked. We would love to go back again another year, as the staff were helpful and friendly, and the accommodation comfortable and interesting.

Made to feel so welcome by wonderful hosts. Comfortable rooms with nice touches like fresh cakes and chocolate to accompany your tea and coffee making facilities. Comfortable bed (in my case and brand new mattress ) . Lovely gardens with lovely animals. Kids would love it. My overall experience was fantastic so much so that I have booked a weekend for my daughter and family next Easter. So much for families in and around Weymouth.

Very clean and tidy, close to everything, owners are fantastic, great stay, reasonable price, if I had to pick one bad thing the room could do with a full length mirror
