I would have given it 5 stars but for the fact it was difficult to find anywhere to hand up our clothes after a very wet journey, there wasn't a grab handle in the shower (which I need) and as the hotel is encased in a large church and there was no external branding, we couldn't find it though it was right under our noses!"

The historic atmosphere is preserved perfectly, and the clean rooms are very comfortable. The staff is clearly understaffed and overwhelmed with duties, but they work incredibly hard and do their absolute best to keep the atmosphere and everything else perfect. Both the breakfast and parking options were excellent. Highly recommended!"
