"The room was very clean and spacious. Bed was very comfy. Parking was safe and convenient. Breakast was warm and delicious. There was a problem with check in due to an error on Expedia's part. However, Surej and Lashon were so very helpful and patient. They deserve 10 stars!!!"

"I was not able to use one of the rooms and they still charged me for it, even though nobody was sleeping in the room until the next day. Also, they have not given me my deposits back for both rooms, which is $200, it's a shame I have to go through all this just to get my money back and didn't even use one room. But I am still waiting"

"Honestly, I was expecting it to be nicer. The staff was very nice! But, the actual hotel room is older including the shower. Although clean, it have that old look where I would recommend shower shoes. No amount of cleaning can fix a shower that has been that long. The cleaning staff are very nice, the bath is just old. The traffic noise is louder than NY. The one window in the room is so thin, I thought it was opened at first. I actually lived in DC for 6 years. The bed and sheets were clean. So if you're looking for a basic stay, then this would work."

"I didn’t know there was no elevator, but they were able to give us another room on the first floor. Also, the sink drained very slowly, but there was no one to try to fix it. We were there for 4 nights."

"We were very pleased with several aspects of this home. 1) It was very close to the wedding venue that we came here to attend. 2) It allowed us to have 6 adults (3 couples) and two young children share the space with enough bedrooms and bathrooms so we weren’t tripping on each other! Also there was plenty of hot water to go around. 3) The reserved parking spaces right outside were a must. It’s a very busy area overall, and street parking simply isn’t available anywhere close. The kitchen amenities would be more complete with additional plates, bowls, serving dishes and glassware (all types, including wine glasses). There was no cookie sheet / flat baking pan. One of our planned meals required that so we bought one from a local store (only 0.6 miles away!). The house has very bright lighting. This works fine most of the time during the day. However in the evening and at night, there are very few softer light choices. Upstairs there are free standing lamps that provide softer lighting in the 3 bedrooms. The main floor could use some table or floor lamps to give a warmer, more homey feel in the evenings. And some night lights with auto light sensors would be an upgrade in the hallways and main areas. All that said, we still are happy to give this home 4 out of 5 stars. And Cyrus, our host, was extremely responsive & quick! He let us check in early so the kids could get down for their naps at a typical time. Thank you, Cyrus!!"

"Great house, lots of space on the inside. Was freezing when we got there but warmed up by night. Communication from the host was inadequate, often 10 hours after a message. Had to call a few times to get the code for check in. "
