We absolutely loved the Lyle Hotel. Our room was very comfortable with so many well thought out details. The interior design was unique and beautiful. We also loved the neighborhood and location. This is definitely the place to stay in DC!

The first room we got checked into smelled like vomit, straight up. We could pinpoint it was coming from a side table. We contacted the front desk and they put us in another room right away.
The furniture in the rooms is super pleasant and modern which is a nice contrast against the old building. The bar is awesome!

We were welcomed with a glass of champagne or rose. Our room was comfortable and delightfully decorated, including thoughtful and useful items like an umbrella and tote bag. We ordered a quick dinner in Cafe Riggs. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. Staff was attentive and very friendly.

Charming hotel and very friendly staff especially during check-in. My one and only complaint is how noisy my stay was. I highly recommend asking for a room far away from the house-keeping closet space because they are constantly in and out and shutting doors at all hours of the day. The doors to the rooms need to be sealed better but I understand it's an older hotel.

Our experience was awesome from check in to check out the staff were super friendly and helpful. Also the staff at breakfast were so accommodating and friendly.

Overall it was a great stay! Very clean bath accommodations, bed was comfortable and very spacious room.. however, on arrival, we noticed the top bedsheet was torn and shredded on one corner. Not what one would expect in a 4.5 star rating hotel. The staff opened the door occasionally but not a big deal, but the doors are heavy and a problem for me since I have major shoulder problem.
