Wow! The view of the lake is unbeatable. Really enjoyed sunsets at the heated pool and hot tub. There were lots of lovely little touches that helped make the hotel special, including a really great spa and salon. I strongly recommend morning yoga, again the view is just unbelievable. The only disappointment was the food. We ordered breakfast at the coffee bar one morning. Hands down the most friendly amazing helpful concierge team I have ever met! There were all so wonderful in different ways. And Erin always went beyond the call of duty to help out with anything. I loved Evohotel for the relaxed friendly atmosphere. The modern relaxed simple decor, and the amazing location. So close to everything .. steps away from the lake .. made life at the lake very easy.

Pros: Beautiful location, good access up and down the valley. Many facilities. Cons: Large areas taken over for weddings, which dominated the outside atmosphere on the Saturday night we were there (amplified speeches and music/live band). Self-parking was a lengthy uphill walk (with steps) away from the hotel entrance.

Fantastic location in a forest directly by the lake. We stayed in the hotel, the basic rooms are quite small but very clean. Many food option. Highly recommended!

Great hotel with all the usual casino amenities!

This property just off the main H395 (and 1hr south of South Tahoe Lake), is made up of 3 large buildings. One contains reception, restaurant, the casino and some ground floor rooms. Note you need to walk through the casino to checkin. The other buildings (separated by an onsite Chevron) are just accommodation. Plenty of green space offered. The rooms are surprisingly quiet and a little worn but keep you cosy. Self parking is free. All rooms face Topaz Lake which is wonderful. Breakfast...

Large resort but well laid out; could do with a slight update in decor especially in the main Clubhouse

Very pleasing large hotel. Fun and relaxed atmosphere. Great dining options on site - Steakhouse really lovely but not open every day, Original Mel's Diner perfect for that all-American experience and great coffee and friendly service at Peet's. My room was very nice, modern and spacious, but others and the lifts were in the process of bring refurbished. The casino was proving popular. I recommend this place warmly.
