This is in the most beautiful location and the staff are so helpful and the breakfast was amazing. You have parking facilitates and they gave us the most yummy flapjack on arrival. I lovely place to stay and feel comfortable with lovely residents.

This was the best B&B by far I have ever stayed in. The room was spotless and a very comfy bed. The full Cumbrian breakfast was delicious and plenty of it, There was also a good alternative menu aswell. But if you decide to have an evening meal you are in for a real treat. Darryl is a trained Chef and the meals he serves are amazing.

For accommodation with only 4 rooms this hotel offers every facility that ten plus room establishments do. We stayed in the annex and I was not only impressed with the standard of the room finish but also the added extras , like bone china cups, bottled water and slippers provided. The food was all freshly prepared and made to order by the in house chef and every dish was cooked to perfection.

This hotel is a gem of a find with the most amazing staff, restaurant and beautifully decorated rooms. It should be a least 4 star and I cannot rave enough about it , thank u to all the amazing staff at MELBREAK

Great hotel quiet and in an amazing place

Very convenient , quiet location, easily walkable to the town centre, lake and bus station. Friendly, helpful staff, and beautiful mountain view from our bedroom window. Hope to go back again soon!

My wife and I stayed for just one night in a room with a mountain view. The room was decorated in a traditional country house fashion and was very clean and comfortable. We were welcomed upon our arrival by the owner who was attentive throughout our stay, as was all the staff. At first, there was an over-abundance of deference and I really wanted the staff to 'unbutton' a bit and let their own personalities shine through. The apartment was fantastic, plenty of space for relaxing in the lounge, whipping up a quick snack in the kitchen (which was very well equipped with toaster over, stovetop range, cutlery, plates, and a small refrigerator). The bed was extremely comfortable, and the hotel is set back far from the small highway, so no noises disturbed our sleep. The bathroom had a bathtub and shower set up, complete with jets that we only discovered on the last day. Also a towel warmer, which was a very pleasant...

All in all it was a very nice stay food was excellent room was very good only thing that took the edge of the whole experience was we were told breakfast finished at ten we got down at 9-32 and a snoty waitress said breakfast finished at 9-30 I pointed out it’s only two minutes past surely you can squeeze us in no chance spoilt the whole experience

Stayed in one of the cabins - compact but spotless, warm (in January!) and comfortable - only very slight problem was the heating control which is a tad over complicated but did not in any way detract from our stay....own transport essential...fantastic location...food great and a great, welcoming staff team.
