"Just to be aware, as with the case of any big city, unfortunately there were homeless people sleeping in the street nearby and walking around during the day. The hotel had ample security and we felt safe for the short time we stayed."

"The Oswego is a really inviting and well maintained building that gives a "home away from home" feel. We love the windows, natural light and quality kitchens that allow for full living. "Stayed in a 1-Bedroom Suite — big room, sofabed + kitchen + fridge. Clean & European style. No AC in summer but they gave 5 fans. Overall, good value and perfect location, walking distance to everything."

"We stayed in 4 other hotels during our adventures on Vancouver Island and the Fairmont was the best for Cleanliness, helpful staff, bed comfort and amenities. It costs equivalent to a neighbouring property that we found disappointing. Walk to pretty much everything you want from here and the grounds are pretty."

"Beautiful property. Our room had a view of the harbour. Although there was a shortage of wait staff, the staff were friendly hardworking and did their best to keep everyone happy. The inside and outside bar were favourite stops before bed after we explored all day. There is some smart technology on the toilets which is great ( we have one at home that is a step up but this was refreshing to see as more environmentally friendly). "
