"Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night. Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed. All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all."

Situated just off the high street with secure on site parking, and within walking distance of various eating establishments. Website is easy to use, and informative, covers everything you need to know about the property and local area. Jamie & Gary are fabulous hosts. Highly recommend this establishment."

"I wasn't provided with check in instructions, so when I arrived I felt a bit lost. I asked inside Greggs and Subway, they informed me that I had to go to the petrol station to collect my room key, it was smooth from there. Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom needed a little TLC, cracks on the bath, ceiling, marks on the floor. Had free WiFi, TV, and tea / coffee facilities. Bed was comfy and clean. Good value for money. Would stay again as very convenient for short trip"

"Great hotel, excellent location. The bedroom was large enough to accommodate the 3 of us and the bathroom was huge too. Bedroom was clean with coffee, tea, water and biscuits as a nice touch. Staff were friendly and very helpful on more than one occasion. Breakfast was amazing, huge choice and delicious. Location was excellent, right on the high street and 30 seconds to the beach. Parking was also available on site and EV chargers. My only issue was the the pool and sauna were closed for repairs while we were staying, which is one of the reasons we picked this hotel over others."

Also ate in the restaurant each evening and the food there was lovely. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Convenient parking close to the hotel. Nice and clean throughout. "Lovely hotel in the centre of Taunton. We had a spacious, well-appointed room on the third floor with a nice view of the town. The hotel is an older building with lots of historic details / decor so it has a nice vibe. Daily room service kept everything clean and fresh and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is amazing: steps from the high street shops, cafes and pubs - you can't beat it. We'd definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again next time were in Taunton."
