"Room, specifically bathroom and bathroom floor needed a remodel. Corners in tub and shower were old and not clean looking. Beds were OK. pillows were very comfy, making up for the pretty flat mattresses. There is no hut tub. There is a pool which was just fine. No view as the window was covered. There is a decent city view in the gym. Front desk woman who checked us in was very professional and had a kind vibe. Valet was the best ever. They were so helpful and nice. The porters were great too. Breakfast not included, but a nice little restaurant downstairs where you can grab a pastry and a coffee. Wish the pool stayed open later than 10. "

"I was very disappointed with my stay at the Congress Hotel. The room was in clear need of maintenance and updating. There were cracked tiles and damaged drywall, and the overall condition felt worn and neglected. The heating and air conditioning unit did not function properly, which made the room uncomfortable. The blanket provided had visible holes, and there were noticeable gaps under the door, allowing noise and light from the hallway to come through easily. Soundproofing between rooms was also extremely poor—it often sounded like neighboring guests were in the same room. Additionally, the space appears to have gone decades without meaningful updates, with heavy layers of old paint and an overall dated appearance. Unfortunately, the condition of the room significantly impacted the quality of my stay."

"I was put off by the fact that they take a $100 security deposit and then refund part of that back as not one but two $16 gift cards for the on premises bistro. I would have rather just get the whole security deposit back at the end of the stay."

"Everything about Chicago Club Inn was exceptional! It was clean,stylish, roomy with excellent service in the free breakfast area. Food was good and service was attentive and efficient. Very tasty breakfast spread.The hotel surpassed all my expectations. The staff was welcoming and accommodating right from the moment I checked in. The full time manager TINA was above and beyond with all the stress I was dealing with in my life.Exceptionally friendly including housekeeping and other staff members with different roles. The view of the courtyard when I open up my back door was splendid...Gazebo, barbecues to cook on, lawn chairs to stretch out on...on a nice sunny day now that April is approaching. Fast Wi-fi. Great location to walkable stores. I enjoyed the pool. Very clean...water at a good temperature. Room was always tidy and fresh. Angie was also such a hard worker doing many jobs. This hotel treated me with care and made me feel extremely safe. As a single traveler, that can be quite hard to come by. Very high appreciation and thanks to Amelio and Mike. They always helped me move with all my belongings. Definitely went the EXTRA mile. In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel!!!"
