Stayed before and this time didn’t disappoint. Lovely rooms staff friendly and helpful.

A quirky place with great food and service. The location is perfect for driving to all areas of Cornwall.

Excellent bb. Lovely friendly couple to welcome you, lovely room. Animal friendly, good location for Bude area. Continental breakfast is loads of fruit, cereals, toast, juices, all in all fabulous. Tea or coffee offered regularly by great hosts Julian and Paula. Definitely one to return to.

Everyone working at the Wellington Hotel were absolutely brilliant. We could not of been looked after any better. Well done and thankyou to all concerned. Pete Milner and Elaine Short

Beautiful little B&B, Suzanne was so helpful, great breakfast with plenty of choice. Stevens paintings are amazing, please look out for them in the breakfast room. Would highly recommend

We stayed for a wedding just outside of the village and it was just perfect. The lady on reception last Saturday (17thOct) in the afternoon /evening was great, so informative and took our photo no problem. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back. The radio in the room was also a nice touch instead of a tv. Thank you.

Inn was very welcome staff were very helpful great breakfast good selection of beers room was basic and a little worn out but staff put their self out to make us comfortable altogether a good stay

Just what I needed. I used to have bar meals here years ago but never stayed. It is quirky and perfect.

Lovely residence, clean and comfy. All staff were cheerful, polite, helpful and attentive. My youngest was thrilled about the peacocks roaming the site. Great base to explore, a day out to Bude, only 25mins away...Thoroughly enjoyable all round.

Ideal for my overnight stay.

good few days at the kings arms made better by good staff and friendly locals. Booked again for next year

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and the food in the restaurant was lovely

Absolutely charming place, lovely family run business, super welcoming, friendly, greeted by dogs, ducks and cows. Stunning peaceful location, just what I needed.

Good breakfast and nice staffs

All staff helpful and friendly , clean and well presented room. In room tea/coffee making , plus some nice biscuits. Good breakfast included too.

Beautiful views, warm welcome, exceptional service. Staff could not do enough for you providing helpful guidance on activities in the area. Cannot recommend enough, just a note on parking facilities they are a challenge.

The Blue Lion is ideally situated for a stop over when making a long journey to Cornwall. The room was well equipped and comfortable. There is some traffic noise from the road, but that did not spoil our one night stay. The staff were welcoming and the locals were friendly. The evening meal was excellent. I would stay here again if travelling in this area.

Excellent place to stay, friendly and welcoming staff

The location is the best thing about this hotel. We had a sea-view room and it was simply amazing. The bathroom in a family room (which is pretty big) is super tiny. The bathroom is more like a "port-a-potty" size, that you see on airplanes or trains, to be honest. But I can understand that construction of a large bathroom is not feasible in that castle. Breakfast was very mediocre, for 15.50 GBP per person. Food presentation and taste was really mediocre. I would suggest that walk to the...
