The Mayflower was an amazing 4 star or 4 1/2 star property. It was terribly overpriced as a five star and for what was provided. The "gourmet" restaurant is truly an emperor with no clothing.

We had a great visit , food is excellent , there were bits of the room that were a little tired . We highlighted these to the hotel . The wine was extortionately priced .

This was an amazing experience. The only improvement I would suggest would be to upgrade the indoor pool.

This was a nice place to stay but not luxury to the point where I understand the price point. The spa is very nice and you can tell it was invested in. We stayed in the main house and it could definitely use an update- it was fine. It wasn’t terrible but it was not worth what we paid for it. We booked a room with a fireplace which didn’t work- we were given a credit of $200 for the inconvenience which was fine but really just left us with a 3 star room to be in. The staff are very very nice and go out of their way to make everything pleasant but overall this is not a luxury resort- disappointed. Not likely to come back except for the spa.

Highly overpriced and over rated stay
This property is clearly over rated and over priced. By no means it is not worth a visit, but for the very expensive high daily rates, and not including any amenities , with a restaurant with limited menu, and again expensive, makes this hotel extremely overrated. Staff was extremely friendly. Spa is very nice, but again prices were consistent with the high pricing of this property. There are not many amenities to enjoy for such price. I was told movie celebrities come to this hotel for vacation on regular basis. I honestly can only think of seeking tranquility and paying top dollars for this opportunity , and not for enjoying a fancy high end place.

A pleasurable experience!
Great service from check-in to check-out. Room was very spacious and clean. Plenty of things to do, even with Covid restrictions. The Spa was amazing and we were able to book the pool for an hour with no issues. The only small negative was the four-poster bed being quite squeaky. We assumed the furniture was antique, yet restored, so we mentally accepted it, but it may bother other guests more.

The team did their best while learning how to manage during COVID. Many small things that went wrong which was not the usual experience but it didn’t impact the stay significantly overall.

The Spa Facility and Services are among the best in the Northeast USA. Bedrooms are very comfortable and clean, housekeeping does an excellent job. All team members are extremely friendly and accommodating.

Staff didn’t put our our bags in the car when we left. Had a flt at local airport and didn’t realize bags were missing until we drove all the way there. No one called us to let us know bags were just left by the main entrance as we pulled away. Had to drive all the way back 1 1/2 hours missed the flt. Total disaster. Never received a call from management after I called them asking where the bags were. Nothing. Cost us so much money for the missed flt. Terrible situation but the worst of it is why didn’t management call us. Unbelievable!!

It was magnificent and i look forward to my next visit at Grace Mayflower. The staff is outstanding as is the spa and restaurant. However, the room is missing a place to make a cup of tea or coffee...this is the only flaw in a perfect place.

Beautiful room, lovely grounds and surrounding area. Wonderful to be greeted upon arrival by a glass of wine, and an attentive staff who said, "Go, sit by the fire, relax, and we will take care of your luggage and your car." Only wish I had stayed long enough, and been less busy myself to enjoy some of the many health and wellness activities offered.

Rates not commensurate with product or service...
Four of us stayed two nights (in suites) for a total of around $4600 and it was nowhere near worth it. The rooms we were assigned were in very poor, tired condition. This site reported back to the front desk my negative feedback, which prompted the hotel management to "upgrade" us (while the new rooms were recently renovated and much, much improved they were in the same room class we'd originally booked, so it is unclear how it was an upgrade). We voiced a number of other service concerns (related to the spa, pool staff, restaurant, etc. -- all remarkably substandard) in as kind and constructive a manner as possible and the front desk manager was receptive to hearing them and tried to ameliorate the problems. Still though, besides transferring us to renovated rooms, no other remuneration was offered and the price of our stay was not commensurate with the caliber of rooms, service, grounds, dining, spa services. This property needs to charge a room rate reflective of their standards or do more work to increase those standards. I'm sorry our time and this review is not more positive.

Always lovely, tech problems tho
Lovely time at Grace Mayflower. We’ve been there several times before both in the winter in the summer. They had their computer system down the entire stay which made some things more complicated than they needed to be but overall place remains lovely and the service remains excellent. The food was pretty good but not spectacular. We ate at another property for one of the dinners And the food there was spectacular. A couple of the cottages could desperately need a new exterior paint job and some of the tiles must be replaced in the pool.

ゆったりと過ごせる場所
娘の誕生日のお祝いに宿泊しました。当日はあいにくの雪、坂を上がれず困って居ました。夜半にも関わらずスタッフの方が除雪をして砂を撒いてくれました。 とてもクラシカルなスタイルで、落ち着ける場所でした。 お食事も時間の変更にも快く応じてくださり、地元の方にとっても特別な場所なのでしょう、奥地にありながらとても賑わって居ました。地元の食材もふんだんに使用されて居て、とても美味しく楽しみました。娘のサプライズパーティーにもスタッフの方が親身に何日もかけ手伝ってくださり、忘れられない時間になりました。 翌朝の雪景色も格別美しく、お部屋も快適ですし、スパもとてもゆったりとして居ます。 温かいホスピタリティで、娘とまたこれからの活力を養いました。 NYから少し距離はありますが、この辺りは秋の黄金色のシーズンも美しいですのでまた戻ってきたいと思います。
