"Check in was 3pm but On arrival there was no one there so didn’t know if I could leave the car in the car park before checking in & no where to leave your bags if you’d not come via car. Room was very clean, comfortable & had tea & coffee facilities & also had a small fridge. Very quiet hotel. Ten minute drive from Wakefield centre. Plenty of pubs which do food with in walking distance. Bus stop right outside."

"Clean and comfortable. Glad we were no more than 4 adults as there is only one bathroom. We booked through vrbo but then ended up dealing with an outfit called Sykes Cottages who ended up charging us more (not a lot more but more than the ad quoted) and they were a nightmare to deal with. Their intervention felt like a scam. Luckily our stay was enjoyable but Sykes should be avoided. "
