Very cool place, a hotel in the old building of the sailors' school. The building breathes nautical history, yet it has all the modern elements you'd expect from a hotel. We loved this place !

The hotel is based in a beautiful villa on the moat just outside the city centre of Middelburg, a lovely location to spend a few days in. There is ample private parking, and our room, in the new extension, was tastefully decorated and well equipped. The spacious bathroom had a bath and shower. The continental breakfast buffet was excellent. We would have liked an outside light to enjoy the patio in the evening and the switch for the central light was in the corridor. These small gripes won't...

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely young lady who helped us with our bags and made us feel incredibly welcomed. She began to tell us about the history of the hotel and show us some of its rooms which were absolutely stunning due to the new owners redesigning from top to bottom. While our bags were on their way up to our room we were relaxing in the bar talking to our host and enjoying a complementary glass of cava. This was just the perfect start to a relaxing birthday retreat. Our...

Location very central and convenient

Lovely place!

Such a great hotel with lovely friendly staff Clean, beautiful decor. The breakfast was one of the best we’d had in a hotel. Good location close to all amenities and the beach

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Absolutely beautiful and the decorations for Christmas were stunning. We loved spending time in the lounge area by the fire, the breakfast was very tasty and the hotel is in the perfect location. Would highly recommend. My ownly fault, and this isnt unique to this hotel, is that we paid an additional price for our four month son to stay (which is expected). Then when checking in online, we were asked to pay an extra price for a cot. That's like...

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Breakfast there was plenty of choice and all produce were good quality. The brownies and Panna cotta are the best i've ever tasted.

Excellent facilities, great friendly staff

Cannot think of one flaw and I've stayed at hotels all over the world. Beautiful hotel in a stunning location, only to be matched by the warmth of the hotel staff and the character of the rooms. I was going to stay in an AirBnb (I try to avoid chain hotels) but watched the movie "In Bruges" and saw a great deal on Expedia. It ended up being a brilliant decision. Staff are extremely warm, even bringing tea/waffles to my room very late at night. Only regret is I could only stay one night. Will...

Lovely spacious room and briljant sjouwer space. Super easy access to station and centre of town. Very lovely staff.

Brilliant Christmas stay, great staff

Brilliant stay!

Location was excellent right in the heart of Bruges. Room was first class, clean spacious and very comfortable. Fantastic view over the square. Staff encountered were all helpful and polite. One of the best hotel stays we have ever had. Great job.

Fabulous place to stay. We were in the newer part of the hotel -- possibly a new building, or a refurbished old one -- but it had been thoughtfully designed and beautifully put together. The walkway to get there went outside, and was only partially covered -- so you might get wet in the rain, although I noticed a stack of umbrellas at reception! Everything else was amazing. Breakfast was fantastic and included three huge blocks of Belgian chocolate and several bottles of fizz, if you wanted...

Beautiful hotel, great location and the staff were very helpful. The lift is quite small and the stairs very steep therefore maybe tricky for those with mobility issues. We loved it and will definitely return

This is probably one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in I cannot fault it

Excellent hotel right in Brugge centre with parking - lovely rooms and bar/restaurant. Highly recommend

Excellent hotel in a great location, only 10 min walk from the train station and close to many great places to eat, drink and explore. Our room was very comfortable. Fantastic breakfast too. Highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back!
