Beautiful period hotel, 10 mins walk from opera house. Really comfortable bed, nice local beer in the mini bar, tea/coffee making. Excellent customer service, they even gave us a complimentary pot of mustard when we checked out! Breakfast was included with a surprisingly excellent range of quality choices, in a pretty dining room. We would definitely stay again.

The oldest hotel in Vienna, very stylish decor. Staff were excellent, food at breakfast was a wide choice of hot & cold. Reception staff spoke good English & gave good directions to Christmas Markets etc. Maps were provided free.

Stayed here just for one night during a business trip. The room was spacious and well mantained. Will certainly stay here again

The economy single room was clean, bigger than anticipated, very comfortable, and included all necessary amenities and more. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The location is fantastic for most major attractions.

Staff were fantastic. Idealy located in the center near metro station and the cathedral. Room immaculate. Can hear other rooms sometimes but didnt bother us. Lovely hotel. Will definitely stay here next time we are in Vienna

Where to start? This was our second visit to Vienna and after staying across the road in the Intercontinental the last time, it was always going to be different. But it was no disappointment the room was large, large enough for 3 or 4 if needed. The suite windows faced into the inner courtyard but I didn’t go to Vienna to sit in a room looking out the window we were off around the place. Close to the Stadtpark and the Subway services you can get anywhere across the city in a few stops. Safe...

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel Johann Strauss. The bedroom was roomy and comfortable, and we very much appreciated the air conditioning. The breakfast buffet was very good, providing something for everyone. I particularly appreciated the fresh fruit. The hotel's location is great. It is a quiet area but it is close enough to the centre that we hardly needed to take public transport, except to go to the Prater and on a rainy day.

Large, clean room on floor 5. Very light and airy. On bus route to centre, bus every 10 mins. Staff very friendly. Sorted us out with tea making equipment in our room. Breakfast over priced, good bakery just over road.

Easy to access from airport with S7 and central Vienna with trum 71. There are some nice cafe for breakfast and good selection of local supermarket which called Billabong near there. It's enough to stay for weekend trip.

The hotel was easy to find from the Airport bus and was a good central location, the staff were very friendly and helpful and although the hotel was quite dated it was very clean, warm and comfortable. Would not recommend staying in Vienna to sightsee in the winter as we found it very very cold temperatures down to -10.

The room was clean, the Wi-Fi signal quite well,the breakfast was very good with a rich offer. There is no fridge inside the room, it could be a problem in hot summer days. The private bathroom Is extremely small .

The hotel in Vienna brilliantly sent a detailed email about booking in & other protocol like location etc minutes after my booking. Breakfast was brilliant and the room did the job with very modern decor. You need to check out by 10am
