Lovely clean room, beautiful bedding, comfy bed and gorgeous soft towels. Room had plenty of storage and the welcome gifts were so appreciated in our room. We didnt use the mini bar but the fridge was very useful for storing drinks. Staff were lovely especially most of the reception staff and the room maid she was absolutely delightful. The Hotel is situated perfectly for exploring the city - but quiet enough to not be disturbed. Only negative was a very miserable member of staff in the bar! Not helpful or very friendly ! Which was a shame as all other staff were lovely.

When I entered the room, I found a used bottle of sparkling water and noticed that some items had already been taken from the minibar. I also found leftover food inside the minibar, which suggests that the room had not been properly checked and cleaned before my arrival. Expedia indicates that there is a gym facility in the hotel. However, I was told that I had to pay Euro 12 per day to use a gym in the neighborhood. During my stay, the towels were not changed every day, and the sparkling water was not replenished. The hotel also does not provide any complimentary welcome drinks or coffee. Overall, there is little positive to say about the hotel’s hospitality, apart from the reception staff, who were very welcoming and friendly. It would be a nice improvement to offer complimentary coffee in the lobby, as this would provide guests with a more welcoming experience.

The hotel was centrally located, the staff was very helpful, it is a very old hotel, one of the first in Vienna, has been completely renovated and has an old time charm

Excellent location for visiting the historic sites and walking the old town. Rooms were neat and clean. Wish the towels were changed more often but this is a common issue with European hotels. If traveling in summer, the rooms have air conditioning which is great for Americans. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

We plan to visit Vienna again and will be booking this hotel again. The location is fantastic, staff were incredibly helpful. We had many questions about the city and what to do and they were extremely helpful every time, and arranged to get us to and from the airport. Also the bartender at the hotel bar had some fantastic recommendations for delicious Austrian wine and whiskey. Would recommend that anyone stay here if they can.

A beautiful hotel with pedigree as the oldest hotel in Vienna! It was immaculate and our room described as a superior double had an enormous bed ( superking size as I couldn’t find my husband!) with a fab mattress and linens. The room was large and spacious and all needs catered for. The staff was great as we borrowed an umbrella several times, needed assistance due to breaking a glass and extra teabags . All dealt with quickly and with no fuss. Breakfast was varied and enjoyable and again the staff was efficient. The location was perfect as our daughter was living a street away, but was also in the lovely 2nd district with cafes and shops. Trams right outside and metros very close by to access further afield. Just over the bridge was the inner city 1st district, with lots that Vienna has to offer including the cathedral, shops and culture. A great hotel and we would love to stay again.

Kunnig och trevlig personal, rent och snyggt men heltäckningsmattor överallt vilket känns lite ofräscht 2026, Tyvärr så var restaurangen bara öppen första kvällen (abbonerad resten av vistelsen) så hann bara prova deras Schnitzel vilken var helt okej, Frukost var bra men inget överdåd utan ganska standard. Hade önskat lite större sortiment på fiket och i baren.

This hotel ranks as one of the best in the world.Staff training and attitude are next level. from housekeeping to breakfast sraff to front desk 5 star quality all the way rooms are elegant and comfortable think Michelin quality the best!
