Close to downtown

Posted 29-Nov-2016
Pros: Quiet area; close to parliament; close to lights parade.
Cons: Provide equal pricing for all. Next time we will wait for the last day.
Location: Museum, Imax, parliament, harbour, sea walk.
Disappointed in not getting the reduced price - by $28.00 per night!!!

A quaint hotel for a relaxing weekend. One block off James Bay, excellent for walking to the downtown area and sea wall.

Great stay, terrific hotel. The hot tub was out of order but we could use the spa at the Grand Pacific.

Older hotel with super location

Posted 16-Nov-2016
This hotel definitely needs a makeover but the location is great, the room was clean & kitchen was well stockeded. The staff were friendly. The hot tub was broken so we were able to use the Grand Pacific facilities which were stellar. I would rate this hotel low because it looks so tired but our overall experience was good.

Cozy and Spacious

Posted 29-Oct-2016
Pros: This hotel was like a home away from home. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the suite had lots of space and a great little kitchen. Our 4 year old loved it too.
Cons: Extra bedding would be nice in the room. It was a little on the old side as far as colors and furnishings in the suite.
Location: Belleville's Restaurant across the street was great!

Posted 28-Oct-2016
Pros:

Close to Inner Harbour

Posted 25-Oct-2016
Pros: See above
Cons: Some of the staff could be more helpful. It's obvious when someone is doing his job only for a pay check.
Location: See above
When I got to the hotel I was welcomed by Julie who later tried to accomodate my request. Julie and Laura were absolutely adorable, smiling and welcoming. Reid(I think), shuttle driver was friendly, courteous, helpful and a good driver. Some of the other staff were courteous but nothing more. The room was very clean with all the necessary amenities, the bed very comfortable. The hotel is situated within walking distance of the inner harbour, the Empress hotel and parliament buildings. The restaurant serves good food and the staff is professional and very welcoming. I liked my stay and would go back to this hotel again.
