Nice hotel but lacks parking

Posted 25-Feb-2017
Cons: Parking facilities
We stayed in this hotel because I I had a knee replacement done in Victoria. The hotel was o.k. But the staff could have been more attentative. The restaurant is good and the room service is also good. The parking @ 18.00 per day was just bad. No room to,park your car in the parking garage while you paid for it.

Last Minute Get Away

Posted 20-Feb-2017
Pros: everything was so nice. THE PEOPLE! THE VIEW!!! THE ROOM! THE BAR! THE SHUTTLE!
Cons: We had asked our housekeeper for two more coffees, she promised to put them in our room, but she didn't. But that was ok, 2 reg 2 decaf be nice
Location: Willie's for breakfast! Murchies for dessert, bakery and soups. Sam's for sandwich/soup. Spaghetti Factory great find and the museum was great
Had a wonderful time at this hotel from minute of arrival after traveling by ferry without car. They surprised us with shuttle service but hotel is easily walkable and beautiful walk. View of water out of this world! Kevin (shuttle) and Leslie (Front desk) were very special exceeding our expectations for luggage storage after checkout and helping us make in Victoria's downtown breakfast...we went to Willie's - a locals favorite and we were NOT disappointed. Affordable too! ($7.95 USA) The bests were comfortable, the toiletries were HUGE and wonderful products. Quiet area and I would promote pay the extra $10 for a view balcony room, it's fabulous. Micro and frig, handy for those snacks. Bed AND pillows comfy beyond words - we are for sure returning to this hotel. We loved the fact it WASN'T smack downtown but within a couple of blocks...and if you don't want to walk, they have a shuttle service (first come, first serve)

Perfect location!!

Excellent location, excellent hotel amenities, cheerful staff. The only thing to have made it better would be a complimentary breakfast, as well as if the staff were more knowledgable about things to do in the area. Overall it was a great experience.
