Pleasant small hotel in good location
Very pleasant small hotel facing the Venice lagoon and opposite the main vaporetto stops. Only 10 mins by vaporetto from St Mark's Square . Comfortable room and good breakfast. Very helpful staff. Only point to note is that off-season, when we visited, reception times may not be as published, do it is a good idea to keep in contact to arrange a convenient time for arrival /departure .

Not a 3 star hotel - avoid
Overall, beware that this is NOT a hotel but a badly run B&B. It is cheap-ish for Venice but you get what you pay for. Pay a bit extra and go somewhere else. I would not stay here again. Details below. Positives: - Location: You can see the vaparetto stop from the hotel window. You will be getting on at the first stop of the vaparetto so always guaranteed a seat. There are lots of nice restaurants nearby that are reasonably priced. - Cheap for Venice (but you get what you pay for) - Room has a fridge and a safe Negatives: - Breakfast is very basic (but free so I guess you get what you pay for) - Bedding is not changed during your stay - The water pressure in the shower was terrible; the shower flooded every time we washed - The room is pretty dated; the bed is uncomfortable - Reception is unavailable most hours of the day (definitely no one there after 4pm) - Toiletries: Make the most of the ones you receive on arrival. We were running low on shower gel but it was not replenished. We then specifically asked reception to put more shower gel in our room and they said they would. They didn’t. And by the time we got back to the room from our day out sightseeing, everyone had gone home and reception was closed. So no shower gel.

Lovely stay in Venice
Very pleasant hotel with great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Location very close to water taxis and beautiful beach for when you need a break from sightseeing. Room could have had tea and coffee making facilities and only one plug socket was not helpful but overall I would recommend.

Great located, right across the street is the Vaporetto station from Lido. Room was very clean and room size sufficient for a few nights. The bathroom ist really small. The Shower is at ground level. The drainage is unfortunately overburdened by taking a normally shower, so it could be possible that the water flows through the bathroom. The staff is very service-oriented. On request we have received a room overlooking Venice. The offer at the breakfast is very limited, especially with the rolls, but it's ok for a few days.

Disappointed
The location is good if you don’t mind being on top of a noisy bus stop. There are no amenities, no reception on arrival (key in an envelope) and the room 102 is claustrophobic, small and dark. We asked for the safe to be re-opened and for the room to be sprayed for the multiple mosquitoes but the staff did not see to it before we left. I would not recommend this hotel even at a cheap rate.

Dear Ginger, we sprayed the mosquitoes in your room, but we can't do miracles if they came back, also it's not good to have the room full of chemicals to kill the mosquitoes and we care for the health of our guests. About the safe I don't remember that you ever ask me to open it, I don't know why I should not have done it. Anyway thank you for you suggestions, we will use to improve our service.

Great little hotel
Great little hotel, spotlessly clean, very near the boat stop, but at night you get no noise thanks to the good double glazing, 10 mins walk to the free part of the beach. Simply continental breakfast is included with juice, cereal, pastries, cheese, meats, yoghurt, hot drinks are made to order. Would definitely stay again

Nice hotel only problem was stated that there was air conditioning but then advised that it was not available in April due to law restrictions have not been able to find anything on this so let down as noisy area due to windows being opened. This should be stated on Hotels.com and hotel website

Very well organised so even with our late arrival everything was ready for us. Easy 5 min commute to central Venice and Lido is very relaxed. On our leaving morning the hotel already had our return water taxi confirmed and waiting for us. Absolute delight, we would definitely stay again.

Great location, great value.
Great location, right next to the water bus stop. Excellent room with a with a dressing room that had a sofa chair, ideal for a family of 3! Lovely 'breakfast lady' who was very friendly and helpful, remembered our prefered drinks. Its location means that you can escape the hustle of Venice 'mainland' of an evening and find a quiet place for dinner.

a very good base from which to explore Venice
We have stayed twice here and enjoyed the quiet of the Lido after the bustle of Venice. The hotel is opposite the Vaparetto station so we were in Venice within minutes, The Staff were welcoming and helpful and the continental breakfast was fine. The rooms were clean and comfortable ..this is a small quiet hotel which serves its purpose. There are lots of places to eat nearby often much more reasonably priced than the eateries in Venice itself. This hotel is not at all sophisticated but is simple and represents excellent value for money with easy access to a wonderful city which can be expensive. I would recommend the Vaparetto ticket which you can buy on line..see Venuzia web site and this enables you to hop on and off and includes tranfers to and from the airport.

Nice, budget stay on The Lido
I stayed here for six nights during my first visit to Venice. I booked late and hotels on the Lido offered the best value from what was available. Service was outstanding, breakfast was standard continental fare. The room was small, with a bathroom/shower and only enough room for a double-bed and armoire. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. I slept well. For first time visitors - it was a bit warm for early fall and so I opened a window rather than use the a/c - no screens! Woke up with 18 mosquito bites. I used the a/c from then on and don't blame the hotel, but lesson learned!

Great location
Perfectly located opposite Lido Vaporetto station with great links to Venice and lagoon islands. Great continental breakfast buffet. Rooms clean and of an acceptable size by European standards. Fresh towels every day. Staff friendly and helpful. An ideal quiet place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Venice.

Lovely, modern hotel in a great location
This hotel is small and run by some genuinely caring staff who are happy to help whenever you ask. The rooms are modern and well decorated, offering a beautiful view across the water and looking at the city of Venice. The only downside was a rather small bathroom. The location is excellent, with the boats only a few steps from the hotel, and the main street (Santa Maria Elisabetta) about 30 seconds walk away. The beach is also close by, taking around 10 minutes or less to walk.

10 min away from San Marco Market via boat. Nice ride. Very clean hotel. Very tiny rooms and bathroom. Grocery store nearby. Boat station right in front of the hotel. Nice view and awesome cappuccino for breakfast!!!

Excellent location on Lido,easy access to Venice.
This small hotel has an excellent location on the Lido opposite the waterbus stop. This gives great views towards St Mark's with easy access to Venice and the airport. Ideal to escape the hustle, bustle and heat of Venice in the summer. A 10 minute walk to the beach gives you the opportunity to combine city and beach. Rooms are comfortable with excellent air con. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and responsive to any questions. A great hotel to stay in when visiting Venice.

Great memories!
My family and I stayed at this hotel for three days. The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and had an AC which was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. They made our stay memorable. We traveled for three weeks and we stayed at different hotels. My children and I liked this hotel the best.

Overall, a pleasant stay. Comfortable and clean room: bathroom was very clean but was very small! Breakfast was simple. No front desk service after 9.30 pm-you need a code to enter the hotel. Opposite public boat transport stop (lido) to many Venice destinations and the airport boat also stops here. Reasonable value.

We booked this hotel for 3 nights, the hotel location is perfect with all easy access but we had problem with room. Shower was leaking, Bed Bugs in the Room. Definitely will not go back. Not happy about it

Excellent location and amazing view of the lagoon!
Just loved the location as it was just opposite bus/boat terminals. We asked for a room with lagoon view and were not disappointed,the view was spectacular! Nice comfortable room, clean and good air con only bathroom was a bit small but that wasnt a problem for us. We would definitely return to this hotel.
